Loam Home Garden

A landscape designer’s own garden is never done. This statement certainly applies to the Loam home garden.

Part design exercise, part plant collection, part trial garden, 100% labor of love. This is the blank canvas that inspired Jay to become a landscape designer. What started as a concrete walk lined with sad shrubs and mossy grass was transformed into a wide welcoming entry surrounded by a garden full of plants.

Besides the main path the garden features a steel lined gravel path, new steps and custom corten steel trench drains to move rain water under the paths and into rain gardens.
